I have been teaching part-time as a visiting lecturer for many years. As a creative lecturer / practitioner for Printed Textiles and Surface Design I can offer a balance of experience and skills in traditional and new technologies.

During lockdown I worked with the Programme Leader of Printed Textiles at Plymouth College to create an online lesson for the textile students. The subject was delivered in pdf format via google classroom. All very different from going in and teaching face to face but still most enjoyable all the same.

My project was titled ‘A Found Object’ ( in my case a broken vase) and followed the design process of exploring and experimenting. Here we used stencils and cut paper.
