It was great to see this well curated exhibition. I found interesting the historic design references that influenced the movement. Inspiration found in a mythologised past, a utopian Medievalism depicted by Pre-Raphaelites and the pre-industrial world of Arts and Crafts movement. References to William Morris, Aubrey Beardsley, JRR Tolkien and Art Nouveau to name but a few.
