I have always been interested in the Pre-Raphalite group especially Burne-Jones. Along with William Morris with whom he developed a love of medieval romance and architecture. And under the guidance of the artist-poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti he started to make intricate drawings in pen & ink which won him the support of artist and patrons in the Pre-Raphaelite circle. Burne-Jones was a decorative artist. Seeing no distinction between the fine and applied arts.
